Today started with a dusky lavender sky, tinged with orange. A wren greeted me, and I thought of the little chap that was born in my garage earlier this summer. I had stopped buying birdseed because I figured most birds would be leaving, but maybe I should get some. I worry, because mice are starting to batten down the hatches and I don’t want to encourage them with seed.
I built a fun little toy on the main site and recently added some radio stations to it. It’s a projection of the world with airline traffic flying between different airports…when you land somewhere you can get a radio stream from a local station. Nice thing to have on in the background while working.
I have a piece started for thursday. I’m going to try to pick up my old schedule, but perhaps not stay so regimented. It’s something gentle to begin with, and then I’ll work on novels and whatnot again. Still need to port some poetry over, but I think all the good posts and short stories live here now.
Aloha kakahiaka.
